2012 Ford Focus Making Odd Chiming Noise When Turn Car Off?

I have a 2012 Ford Focus. When I turn the ignition off, there's a weird high-pitch chiming noise coming from under the steering wheel somewhere. It it a two-toned chime and chimes 15 times (without any lights or any other indication). The chimes continue after the key is taken out or even if the car is cranked again. Does anyone know what this means?

Thank you

Added (1). Just to note, this is NOT the same beep that occurs when the door is opened or key is left in the ignition. This is an entirely different chime.

Added (2). There's no unusual indication lights while the car is on either.

I recommend taking your Focus to the dealer to get diagnosed. Our certified technicians would be happy to take a look and advise the next steps. You can make an appointment online here: http://owner.ford.com/...tor.html#/.

Have a great day!

  • My 2000 Ford Ranger 6 Cyl 3.0 L has been overheating. Pretty sure its a radiator problem but odd symptoms? Truck exhaust will puff moderate amount of white smoke (every now n again) on cold startup but will subside after engine warming up.Truck "Was" overheating until i put more coolant in but realised cap was steaming along with coolant reservoir (reservoir was also bubbling). So i bought a new radiator cap. I got a safety cap and after installing I drove a little and engine temp goes to red really fast. What could it be? Thermostat? Water pump? Blown head gasket?
  • 2001 Ford Ranger clicks once then won't turn over, and when key is turned off, it begins making a clicking relay noise under the dash? - 1 I've had this happen before, and the last couple times I just undid the battery and put it back in and it started right up. The battery has a charge, the alternator is new, and I tried jumping the battery just in case. So I know it's not that. I'm thinking it could be something in the ignition switch because sometimes I have to lift up on the shifter knob for it to register that it's in park and turn over. Any ideas?
  • My Ford Transit headlights turn on in off position and turn off in the on position? I'm a new driver, just passed my test. My van has some issue with the lights: namely, the lights turn off in the on position when the dash lights come on, and turn on when they are supposed to be off. This means that I'm driving at night without dash lights as I need to have the lights switched off in order for my headlights to be on. Might this be an electrical issue? Would anybody be able to give me advice and possibly know how much this costs to repair?
  • My car is making noise when I turn the wheel, what could be causing it? I put power steering fluid in and double checked it to make sure it was full, which it is. But whenever I turn the wheel it still makes a terrible noise, i almost want to not drive it anymore just because of that noise. Anyone have an idea what it could be? Is it the power steering pump maybe? If it helps, my car is a 2001 Ford Mustang, FWD. The noise is coming from the front of the car.
