Fiesta Zetec Climate (57 Reg) Cigarette Lighter & Horn problems?

I have been having problems with my Cigarette Lighter (Charger socket) & Horn:

I have changed the fuse behind the Glove compartement for the Charger socket but it still doesn't work, I have since found out that there's ANOTHER fuse in the engine area, I have located that & quickly tried to open it (but failed) as wary of breaking it, Fords won't tell me what fuse I need (even though I'm buying it off them), can anyone help on how to open & which fuse I need?

Horn: It only works now & then, I'm hoping it's a connection problem but can't locate the connection in the engine area, any help on what the problem could be & what to do/where to locate it?

I'd get yourself a Haynes Manual for the car, that'll tell you what to do and much more.

  • What's going on with my cigarette lighter in my Ford Taurus? When I try to plug in a phone charger, it works but I have to play around with the wire because the connection seems weak. I thought it might've been a fuse, but I tried putting a cigarette lighter in and it was hot. What can it be?

My girlfriend and I are in Australia on working holiday visas and we're keen to buy a car in order to travel down th East Coast. We have found a car that looks decent, but the car's rego is for SA and we're in Cairns (QLD) and the rego is up in a few days. How will it work, renewing/transferring the rego from QLD and how much should it cost? The car is a ford falcon station wagon if that matters.
  • 12v outlet (cigarette lighter) in my 2009 Ford Fusion seems to have come loose. How can I fix this? There's still power coming to it, if I hold my phone charger in a certain angle it will work, but I can't constantly hold the charger while I'm driving.
  • Stuck Ford Focus Cigarette Lighter? So my ford focus has a Stuck cigarette lighter. I've pulled out the panels behind the 2006 (i think) and I have the panel with the lighter in it (unplugged ofc) Now I'm wondering how I can get this out, I've tried prying it, But it's stuck to the point where it's fully plunged in. -Any ideas?
