Cheapest Car Insurance Quote Challenge?
I'm 17 years old in the UK and I've just passed my driving test. I want to get insurance on my 1.25L Ford Fiesta Zetec 2002. I have two older drivers, one who has had their license for 17 years and the other who has had theirs for 30 years with no claims and no convictions in the last 5 years.
I'm open to the idea of a black box, but not one that has a curfew or fines me for speeding.
What is the cheapest quote you can find? I'm not bothered whether I get 3rd party or comprehensive, which ever is cheaper.
The cheapest quote will and can only be found by YOU. There are way too many factors involved in an insurance quote. The cheapest (best) quote for one person may be the most expensive and worst for the next person. I fail to see what the other 2 older drivers have to do with your insurance on your Ford? It is clear that you have no idea how insurance works so with all due respect, I would advise that you to sit down with an insurance agent and get a quick "insurance 101" lesson. Liability and comprehensive are just two of the many types of coverages.
- Why doesn't car manufacturers provide their own car insurance? I always ask myself this question. Why doesn't the Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Nissan, and more provide their own car insurance? It's doesn't make a lot of sense to leave the insurance duties to companies that knows little to nothing about cars. Plus, Insurance would be cheaper. Sick and tired of getting RIP off by the Geico, and State farms of the world. What do you people think?
- What is the cheapest way to make my 2002 Ford Taurus adaptable to an aux port? My car doesn't have an external cd unit. Would I have to restore in buying an aftermarket stereo adapter panel and then buy a stereo for it or is there just an option of getting a cable to fit in the existing panel somehow?
- If you have a car accident with a borrowed car, whose insurance are you covered by? Okay, my dad just totaled my grandma's 1999 Ford Taurus wagon. He was trying to turn and we hit a Nissan Frontier. The Nissan was fine, but the Ford is totaled, and my dad has never been in accident like this ever before. Does this go under my dad's insurance or my grandma's? She did give him the permission to drive it.
- Quote on tie rod replacement? I have a 2007 Ford Fusion 2WD, they told me my driver side tie rod boot had busted, they quoted me $247.00 to fix it, is this a fair price?
