Repair manual advice for new 2012 Ford F-150 XL?
I just purchased a new but used 2012 Ford F-150 XL with Flex Fuel. It is as basic as it gets which I'm happy about because I really would like to learn more about trucks, engines, etc.
Rather than take a class at a local JC (which I believe would be best) I'd rather just get an indepth book about my specific truck, how it works, how to tell what's wrong with it, pictures, etc so I can truly KNOW my truck if anything were to happen. I.e. If the truck breaks down on the side of the road, I'd know what to do.
What do you recommend?
Heres, s and idea. Get out your owners manual. Or get one if you don't have one. In the back of the owners manual will be an order blank or information to buy a complete set of factory manuals printed by Ford. You will be able to tear the truck down and repair any part you want.

It's used. Also Flex Fuel isn't a physical part per se, it just means the engine will run on E85 or gasoline or anything in between.

Get a shop manual, and a scanner.

It's a modern truck, if something goes wrong on the side of the road, chances are you are not going to be able to fix it on the spot. It's not the 1960's anymore.
- Where can I find a repair manual for a 6 cylinder, 1968 Ford Mustang? Haynes manuals only cover V8's and I haven't heard much good about the Chilton variety. Anyone have any good references for repairing/restoring a 68 mustang with a straight six engine? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a very responsible driver and I've been driving for almost 4 years. So I wanna know what would be the best vehicle for me. And what is more reliable and cheaper to maintain?
- How to accelerate quickly in a 2012 Ford Mustang V6 manual? How do I accelerate quickly from a standstill? I need to know step-by-step from stopping to 6th gear. What do I need to do with the clutch and gas pedal?
- I need a little advice in buying a new car? I have a great steady job and I can afford to buy a car from the dealership. It is the first time I ever go to a dealership for a car. I'm just wondering if there's any good reliable brands you can recommend to look out for? How is Ford, in your opinion? Also, what are the next steps one takes after buying a new car? Tags, plates, and insurance right?
