Is it possible to put an ecoboost engine in a 2005 ford f150? - 1
Possible? Yes
Financially feasible? Not at all. You'd be replacing the entire powertrain, it's not even remotely close to a drop in affair. You're legitimately looking at well over $12k in parts, and another $6k+ in labor. You would be money ahead to sell the 2005 F-150 and buy 2011-2013 F-150 with the Ecoboost.
- What engine type does the 2005 Mercury Monterey (Ford) van have? Is it a Nissan engine? Looking to buy a 2005 Mercury Monterey Van. I was told it has a Nissan engine by a friend. However, I can't find anything stating that. Also, what are they known for, as far as, issues/problems? I want to know what I getting into? Any other information including what I'm seeking appreciated.
- I need to put a different engine in my 1982 Ford Ranger Lariat and I don't know what to put in it? It's the biggest engine you could get at the time in those trucks, so it is a v8, I just don't know the exact size. Since the engine is pretty much dead that's in it I was wondering if almost any v8 could go in it's place or if it has any specific engine that has to go it in. Also any good suggestion for a good engine would be great.
- Is it possible to put a 5.7 hemi into a Ford 06 mustang gt? I have my hands on a 5.7 hemi with 30k miles and I want to swap it with the 4.6 sort of an abomination mustang will it fit? Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?
- Ford Mustang engine swap to for lightning engine? Possible? Mustang 97 with a 02 ford lightning 5.4 engine can it be done? I was just wondering I want to start working on my car but want a engine swap.
