Instrument panel fuse keeps popping?
I have a 1997 Ford F150 and the instrument panel cluster fuse keeps blowing out. It started happening after I took my muffler off but I did put a new one on. I have replaced the fuse twice already in the past 4 days. Does anyone know what's wrong.
Are you talking the small box under the dash board or the larger fuse/relay box under the hood? In the small box under the driver's dash, Ford does not 'usually' have a dash board fuse. In the box under the hood, the dash is on the same fuse as a lot of other interior circuits.
- Which fuse is the correct fuse for the radio in a fuse box? Read details? A 2002 wind star ford van has a radio that doesn't work. Which fuse would need to be replaced in the fuse box?
- Troubleshooting a 2003 Ford Taurus Instrument Panel Lights Outage? Over the course of a year a section at a time of my instrument cluster lights have gone out. All other: warning lights, interior lights and gauges all work fine. Sometimes if I hit the dashboard with my hand the lights will come back on. Any ideas on what I should be looking at?
- I think I blew a fuse in my 2002 Taurus. I can't find the fuse and want to know if it sounds like i did? So when changing a Puddle Light in my 2002 Ford Taurus I hit the wire that connected the lighting and lighting case to my mirror. Something sparked and my interior lighting, glove box lighting, and mirror lighting is not working. Is this something as simple as a fuse?
- Solar panel on Ford E150 van JMC Tiara Package. Van came w own solar setup but its old and solar panel is tiny. Upgradn to 100w panel? Can I use the cables and solar meter etc (setup van came with) to power the renogy 100w panel? Or do I need to get bigger cables etc
