If I was in the Army could I afford a 2016-2015 Ford F-150 4X4? - 1

Probably not. They don't pay very well.

Enlisted? No, not for several years. Take a look at the military pay chart in the link below. You'll start out making less than $20,000 per year and will be making just a little over $20k after your first (usually fast) promotion. After taxes and other expenses, it's unlikely that you would be able to afford right away. Besides the expense of a down payment and financing the truck, you'll be looking at expensive insurance being that (I assume) you are young and trucks are costly to insure. You do generally get to live in base housing for free and might even be required to for the first few years, but you'll have other expenses.

Commissioned officer? Yes, you could probably afford it after a couple years of service, if not right away, assuming your other expenses are kept to a minimum.

That depends on your Army income and your other living expenses including debts.

No you won't make enough for the payments

No you would have to be at least a e-4 pay grade for someone to finance you save your money kid get cheap used cars buy a house pay it off early save cash buy new car with cash

Wait until you're out of the army, cause even if you could afford on it would just sit form MONTHS on end while you were on deployment.

  • 2016 Ford Mustang Or Chevy Camaro 2016? Which one is overall better. Which one looks better? I can afford a v8 but I don't want to fill up my gas tank every 3 days because I drive far. Which one do you like the look of more?
  • 2015 Ford Fusion S, 2015 Chrysler 200 LX or 2015 Kia Optima LX? All pretty similarly priced. F and C have 3 year b - b and 5 year power warranty while the K has 5 year 100k everything.
  • Can I join the Army if I had a head injury when I was the age of 4? When I was 4 years old, my family and I were involved in a head on collision in our 1972 Ford Pinto which left me with a head injury. I have no symptoms and I have been very athletic and active. I'm now 31 and am eager to join the Army. I do not have any headaches outside of the norm for anyone and no treatments have ever been needed. Will this be grounds for automatic denial from enlistment or will I be able to pursue this dream?
