Stay away from electrical stuff until you spend two minutes learning to use a volt meter.

Of course the ford driver gives no description of if it'll turn over or make a weird noise when it tries to start how do you expect us to know when you give no information

I do not understand the question.

Assuming the new pump is good and the filter is plumbed correctly…
Can you hear the fuel pump prime itself when you turn on the ignition? Get a buddy to listen to it whine if you can't. If the pump makes a sound then the fuel lines may be blocked. Disconnect the motor end and see if fuel sprays out when you turn on the ignition, noting the fuel will be pressurised. If you have a gauge, test the pressure. It should be several BARS. Not sure what the conversion to psi is but you can Google it. If fuel is getting through at the correct pressure, then it may need the ECU re-flashed and you need a proper diagnostic tool for that…

Guess the problem wasn't the fuel pump. What you going to guess at next?! There's a reason mechanics buy a $2,000 scan tool. You need one to diagnose electrical sensor malfunctions and know what you're doing.

Hey ever think it might be a crank positioning sensor? Those when they go bad will allow the vehicle to crank over but it won't fire. The sensor is only like 40 bucks.

Many ford cars and trucks would have a fuel pump inertia switch mounted in the trunk or against the firewall in the passenger side foot well as it is designed to trip on rough roads or the forces sustained in a collision cutting power to the fuel pump in the fuel tank. To reset the switch you have to make sure there's no fuel leaking as on top of the switch there would be a reset button to be pressed if the switch was tripped.
