How many miles will a 2002 Ford F150 typically last?
I'm looking at trucks priced $6000 max. I found an 02 with the 5.4 triton V8. It's a Lariat Supercrew. They wan't just about $6000. The only thing i"m worried about is the mileage. It has 190k. But it looks to be in good shape and it only has one previous owner who kept the original window sticker and books. It's either this truck or a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab with the 5.9 that has 140k miles. But it has had 2 owners and been in an accident.
Added (1). Yeah its 4x4. The interior is really clean. The body is in pretty good shape. Here's a link to the ad

Sounds a bit steep… Is it a 4x4? In a front-engine rear-drive platform like that, you could drop-in a 'new' engine in a day or two, so the mileage isn't a killer. More important: Is the body in good shape & the interior clean?
Hi in most cases it is out of time now to be honest 150 k miles is when things start to give trouble.
- How many miles a 3.0 engine in a '95 Ford Taurus should last? I've got nearly 193,000 on it now. Have been good about oil changes and most mechanical work although a few years ago I drove it for several weeks with a broken catalytic converter.
- How many miles will my truck last me? 1998 Ford ranger xlt 3.0 v6 she's running strong flushed radiator but when it's in park sometimes it shakes. Could that be a muffler? Not really an issue. Just wondering how many miles I can get out of her before I need to start worrying. It's at 159k.
- How many miles is too many? - 2012 Ford Fusion? I have a couple of questions for you guys… I found a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL that I like. The problem is it has a LOT of miles for a 2012, 97k to be exact. Is this something a car buying should stay away from? My other question is how well do 2012 Ford Fusions hold up? How many miles can it be expected to last if it has been taken care of? I'm looking for a used car 2009-current for around or under 13k. Have suggestions? Feel free to let me know!
- How many miles a 2003 Ford Focus should last? I just hit 100,000 miles on my 2003 Ford Focus. I'd like to get a new car, but this vehicle is still running very well. I haven't had any major repairs with it either, mostly just maintenance. Does anyone know about how many miles a vehicle like this should last for?
