The cat converter runs hotter than the exhaust manifold and it is only 600 degrees F

get an infrared non-contact thermometer (harbor freight sells em cheap) and check it yourself

Which exhaust/exhaust system would work best for my car? I own a 1970 Ford Torino (Brougham) with a 351 Cleveland engine running on stock exhaust. I want to upgrade the exhaust (I'm thinking Flowmaster) but like, does the whole exhaust system need to be done, or like half? I need your help making my baby roar lol. Please give me your best suggestions and approximate cost.
Replacing Exhaust Manifold? I have a 1991 Ford Ranger 2x4 with a 4 cylinder. Would it be worth the money to replace the exhaust manifold for a less restrictive one and hopefully gain a little more HP? Or should I just not even waste the money. Also do you have any other suggestions on how to squeeze a little more juice out of this tiny engine?
Having trouble with engine knock of 1992 ford f150? I'm buy my first car it is a 1992 ford f150 everything is in good condition other then a knock in the engine. What is causing the knock is completely unknown was wondering if it could be dangerous and or what the knock could be?
90 Ford f150 5.0 engine gets hot? The radiator is full, the water pump is working and circulating, the belt is good and fan is working, I get hot air when heater is turn on, I do have the thermostat out of it because it was sticking a while back. So I'm stumped on this one. Anyone have any suggestion what I'm over looking
