Ford f-150 4x4 won't run without seafoam?

Incorrect. It isn't required, but it will run better, if you use it once in a while, about every third oil change (10,000 miles). It is a fuel injector cleaner that is fed in through the brake booster vacuum line. Keeps everything nice and clean so you don't see a drop in performance or mpg.

I had issues of truck dying after start up first thing in the morning. I cleaned the MAF with MAF cleaner, cleaned the intake with intake cleaner, and ran seafoam through the brake booster (serious smoke show!). After doing all this the truck has started great every morning. Hopefully it is not just because it is getting warmer out! The intake was very gunked up and judging from the smoke after the seafoam, that could only help also. Took a total of about an hour and twelve bucks.

If used in the gas tank, it cleans the injectors as you drive. If used in the crankcase, it dilutes the lubricative properties of oil, whicht will "clean" the sludge out of the motor.

  • If Graham is so upset about people making charges without evidence then why is he accusing Ford of lying without any evidence and the DNC? "putting her up to it" with no evidence for that claim either? Privately? Why? These are public hearings and a lifelong appointment. If somebody's going to speak up they'd better do it now.
  • How is fording a river in a manual 4x4 different to an automatic 4x4? I had forded a river with a LR Defender before and usually stuck it in Low 2nd gear and push through the river at 2-3k rpm. Luckily I never got stuck in the middle but I remember reading somewhere that it is easier to ford rivers with an automatic gearbox due to the lack of clutch housing? Since automatic gearbox won't really stall in the middle of the river, would it be okay to shift it in reverse if stuck?
  • 07 Ford Fusion won't run? The car is a 2007 Ford fusion. About 2 months ago, the wrench light came on the dash, the odometer stopped working, and once it entered that mode (usually shortly after starting up And driving a little) it would jerk, and then it would never shift higher than 3rd gear. It's been driveable though until yesterday on my way to work. It wouldn't shift past 1st. Then this morning when I got off work, it just wouldn't start period. Not even turn over.
  • How to add seafoam through the vacuum line in a 2012 Ford Focus 2.0 L Duratec Ti-VCT I4 GDI? I can find nothing for a modern Ford Focus all I find is ztech crap and focus from last gen. There seems to be no info really on the third generation to present focus. Where is the vacuum line that I would put seafoam in it was so much easier on my cobalt?
