I have a 98 ford Explorer sport and horn will not work?

I have read through the Manuel and it states that the horn fuse is an inactive slot and I have also checked the connections behind air bag are connected and show nothing to be wrong I'm at a loss please help.

Remove the connector in the horn and check for power and ground. You can also connect the horn directly to the battery to see it the horn is ok.

Buy an cool new horn and put in your roof

  • My horn in my truck is broken and can be fixed and won't work with my new steering wheel? I have an '86 ford f150 and the new steering wheel I have won't work with the hook ups to my horns. And they are broken anyways. Is there any type of system or car horn set that I can get and that is easy to install. I don't want train horns. I have a CB radio if there's anything I can do with that. If you can, can you please post links to parts or anything I might need to buy?
  • Why doesn't my horn work with my Ford Explorer remote fob keychain? I bought a new remote keychain fob for my 1997 Ford Explorer and I programed it, when I push the panic button only the lights flash on and off, the horn does not make a sound when pushing the panic button, however the horn is working fine otherwise, just not with the remote, I only hear a clicking noise coming from somewhere around the dash or under the steering wheel when I push the panic button, does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and how it can be fixed?
