What is the best first car? - 1
I just recently got my driver's license. I just turned eighteen, and I'll be attending university in the fall, so I'd like my own car instead of driving my father's truck (it's a 2012 Ford Escape). I'm looking for the best first car to purchase. I don't really want something too big.
The maximum I can spend is $25,000. Any suggestions?
There can certainly be a "best" car for you but there's no such thing for all drivers, all needs, all road conditions, and all climates.
It's up to you to do your own research and narrow down what fits your wants and needs the best.
For up to 25K, you should look into few years old Honda, or Toyota cars
also most american cars are also good - instead of new, buy 1-2 year old with little mileage like < 20,000 - car will be still under factory warranty.
"I will build a car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one-and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces." This was the first car the average American could afford and these qualities are what make a first good starter car.
I'd say get down to the nearest Ford Dealer, and speak with a sales manager when you're selecting your first car!
I recommend going to our website here: http://www.ford.com/....ford.com/. Take a peek at the cars, check out the specs, and make a list of the ones that interest you the most. The next step will be to set an appointment with a sales manager. They will be in the best position to answer any inquiries you may have about vehicles on the lot. You can also schedule one online just by clicking this link: http://owner.ford.com/...ateADealer. Lastly, take a test drive in your top picks. Then you will know which one is the best choice for you!

- Which car is the best first car? - 1 I'm 16 and I'm going to be saving up to buy a car. I want to spend $1000-$5000. I will likely have it all the way through college. I'm looking for comfort, safety, space (I'd be hauling my stuff to college), and winter capability. Here is what I like. -2000-07 Ford Taurus SEL -2000-07 Mercury Sable LS Premium -2005-07 Ford Five-Hundred Limited AWD Which one should I get? I'd like to stick with a V6 that's either FWD or AWD.
- What car should I get for my first car? I'm 16 and about to buy my first car. I'm thinking about getting a 94 Ford Ranger (120k miles) with lifted suspension, off road tires, and a prerunner bumper. Would this be a reliable car throughout my high school years? Should I get that or should I just get a 2 door coupe?
- What is the best first car for a 16 year kid? Getting my kid a car between the years of 1960 and 1980 because he wants one. Don't care about gas, price or insurance. Not to throw flowers on myself but we can afford it completely. I was thinking between a 1966 Ford Mustang or maybe a 70s Cadillac or a 1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV which my father had and i had great memories in.
