2010 ford escape 100000 miles?
So I recently just purchased a ford escaped with 99000 miles on it for 13000. I was just seeing what others thought as to if this was too many miles on the vehicle and if this is a smart purchase. I love the SUV and it was taken care of from its previous owner its in good condition but how long of a life do these escapes have and has anyone had a bad experience with them.
I don't know exactly what model you have but the standard model is worth about $8000. You overpaid by 3-5000 for the car. Check it out on Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds. As far as life goes you can expect repairs to become more frequent now that 100K miles has been reached. The life of a vehicle is really determined by how much money you are willing to spend to repair it------anything can be repaired but economic cost gets very high after 150K miles or so. Trouble is ----since you probably overpaid and have a loan to boot you will be under water on the cars value for years to come.
You paid too much but it has some life in it.
- Would you buy a 2010 Ford Fusion with 92k miles? I'm not a car person but I love the body style on the 2010 ford fusion. I also want a hybrid. I found one at the a good price but a lot of friends are saying it would not be a good idea buy a american car (ford) and a hybrid with that many miles. Any advice from people who know about cars?
- I own a 2015 Ford Escape with 30,000 miles and runs good. My prior vehicle had over 150,000 miles and I used Gumout Regane high mileage fuel? System cleaner. I still have a bottle of the Gumout and wondering if I used it in the Escape, would the Gumout do any harm to it? I suppose I could wait until I get 75,000 miles on it before using but I'm a 3000-4000 miles a year driver and the Gumout would go bad before using it.
- How many miles can I put on a 2010 Ford Escape XLT? Looking to buy a 2010 Ford Escape XLT with 60,000 miles on it. Does anyone know the life expectancy of this vehicle?
- How many miles is too many miles for a 2010 Ford F-250 with a 6.4? I have one I'm looking at with 175, XXX for about 22k. Looks like it's in good shape but I'm pretty new to diesels
