2002 ford escape radio and cig blown?
I put in a car invertor and it blew my radio and cig, i checked the fuses and it seems to be fine, i don't know what else it could be
Some vehicles have a small enclosed box in the engine compartment with plug in relays inside… It might be one of those relays!
Son, get a DMM and open up the fuse box.
The human eye can only see so much. The DMM will tell you if you've got any blown fuses.
- Ford ranger '03 Fuse blown battery light? My dome light is loose and ducktaped to the roof, and its caused me to blow the speedometer/windshield wipers fuse four times now. After replacing the fuse this last time, the battery light is on and the battery gage indicates a low battery. I'm thinking I may of damaged an alternatator wire or something.
- I have a ford focus 2002 and i'm instaling a new radio? The radio has 3 wires (black, red, yellow and blue (blue is for the remote. I know that blacl is ground, red is power and yellow is memory. However, the car has 5 different wires. Fat orange and black, fat green and black, thin red and black, thin black and yellow, thin yellow and light green. Can anyone tell me which wire should go where?
- How to connect 2002 Ford Explorer factory radio wires to new radio? I took out my radio. I purchased a ford stereo connect but it doesn't fit to the factory wires which are now unconnected to the factory radio. Is there a way I can connect them directly to the new radio? I'm new to replacing radios.
- Is a 2001Ford Escape's engine the same or at least similar to a 2002/2004 Ford Escape? My car is overheating and I've changed my radiator, thermostat, and reservoir and now I'm down to the water pump. I found a video on YouTube for removing the water pump and I think it was on a 2004 Escape or an 02. But I drive a 2001 Ford Escape XLT V6 3.0L 2WD and I need to know if the engines are the same or at least similar. I need to know if the water pump is in the same place?
