Is american Built Toyota's are of same quality of the Japanese?
I'm planing to buy a highlander limited
due to my bad credit situation, only toyota is giving me a car as i have enough credit experience with them
do you think toyotas built in the USA are of same quality of the japanese made?
i mean the known toyota quality
reliability and so
and i was looking into the edge as ford credit might be another option
who is better in long term quality and reliability?
Yes. Modern cars are built 95% by machines so it doesn't really matter what country they are built in. Almost every Toyota in America these days was in fact built in the United States.
I believe some studies have suggested that the US ones are better built - I think this is judged by reliability through repair and breakdown costs per vehicle
- Why can't Ford have the same quality as Toyota does? What are they doing wrong? I have to drive and maintain a Ford for work. Constant wiring, fuel pump relay, gaskets, water pump, and other issues. Many Toyotas are problem free other than maintenance. How does this happen?
- Why don't American cars last as long as Japanese cars? My family has owned a Ford Taurus and a Nissan Altima of similar model years. Both cars are still running, but the Taurus has very low mileage (it's a 1999 with only 85,000 miles) and the interior is in horrible condition and the plastics Ford put in have been known for breaking. None of this has happened with the Altima, even though it has more miles. Why?
- Should i sell my japanese car to feel more American? One day i woke up and i realized i was born in America, so it would make sense to drive an American car. It feels more natural. I own a Honda but i want to buy a Ford. But i don't know if this is a good decision because asian cars are more reliable than american cars. Is this a good decision or do you consider this stupid, just a phase, and unnecessary in your opinion? The whole point of this is just to "feel more american"
- I took my truck my truck to ford to fix a very loud noise and when I Get it back same its the same? I spent eight hundred and something dollars to get this fixed they said I should replace two of them the front and back so they can have the same life span so I forked out another 400 bucks but now when I go home and has the same noise when I turn now they're trying to sell me a wheel bearing for two hundred buckS, its been 5 days what should I do
