Does it crank? Yes, check for fuel and spark. No, check your battery (again) for voltage and have it load tested. Make sure the teminals are not corroded and secure.
If that is all you did then check that you put the right wire on the right terminal and read the owners manual for how to reset the security system.
Make sure you bought the correct size battery - the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) is very important. If yours is too low, it will not provide enough power to start the truck.
