Cars similar to the Lexus ES300 and Crown Ford victoria?
I'm looking for a car that is built like a tank or rides smooth. Gets good gas mileage and is reliable.
Your question implies that you think a Lexus ES and a Crown Vic are similar, they really are not. One is a mid sized FWD sedan with a unibody, the other is a RWD full sized body on frame car. They are very different vehicles. The ES is really just a rebodied Camry.
If you want a large solid sedan You can go to Impala, Avalon, Taurus - many choices. Nothing really left like the Crown Vic though, unless you buy a nice clean used one, they are fairly inexpensive. Note the Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Town Car are pretty much the same vehicle.
Cadillac Deville
An ES300 is the same platform as a Camry. The Crown Victoria shares a platform with the Mercury Grand Marquis and a Lincoln Towncar. Sharing a platform means the suspension and mechanical underpinnings are identical and it should basically ride the same.
- What brand exhaust should i put on my 01 ford crown victoria? I know different brands have different tones. But what i'm looking for is a very low growl or rumble nothing loud. If you could recommend some muffler sieries i would really appreciate…
- Should I buy a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria? I'm thinking of buying this car and putting a push bar and a spotlight, no tinted window or cop signs, and also the car painted all black… Can I do this or not?
- Ford Crown Victoria Mods? What are some easy and preferably cheap mods to do on the Crown Victoria's 4.6L V8. Also I was wondering if its unreasonable to expect 300 HP after a few of these mods. Not looking for visual mods here just performance.
- For a Ford LTD Crown Victoria 1984 5.0 engine, how to drop down the RPMs on the carb idle? Electric choke thermostat is new and Throtle position sensor is new. Timing is adjusted but the RPMs are still high running at 1400. How can I drop it down to 550? Would appreciate your help greatly.
