It depends which Mazda it is - there are some Mazdas which share parts with Fords, but without knowing which car you have it's impossible to help you.

Well, the 1994 Ford Ranger and Mazda B2300 did share the M5R1 five-speed gearbox and associated clutches and hydraulics, but that's it. However, I found out - the hard way - that, unlike the Borg-Warner World Class T-5 used in exactly contemporary Mustangs, the M5R1 has no shift fork stops for Direct. The most major differences are in the axles; the Ranger uses a 220mm Visteon semi-float, the B2300 a Toyo BD21 series dropout semi-float, and differential and ring-and-pinion parts do not interchange between these designs.
